Job Description

Insurance Broker position at Ficek Insurance Agency Ltd, located in Brandon, MB (R7A 2Y7). Permanent, full-time role with on-site customer service responsibilities and no remote work option. Employment is for 30 to 40 hours per week with a starting wage of $25.15 per hour. The schedule includes evening, morning, day, and weekend shifts, beginning as soon as possible. The successful candidate will assist clients with insurance needs, from application to claim support, in a fast-paced insurance office environment.

Job Duties

• Ensure appropriate forms, and other policy requirements are completed

• Monitor insurance claims and respond to clients' enquiries

• Provide customer service

• Provide information concerning group and individual insurance packages, the range of risk coverage, benefits paid, and other policy features

Qualifications, Requirements, Skills

• Education: Other trades certificate or diploma

• Experience: 1 to less than 7 months in a related capacity

• Languages: English

• Must work at the physical office location (no remote option)

• Willing to relocate (relocation costs not covered by employer)

• Insurance experience in one or more of: property/casualty, commercial, individual, group, automobile, fire, health, house, medical malpractice, personal, and tenant insurance

• Own transportation required

• Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment; combination of sitting, standing, and walking

• Attention to detail

• Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, judgement, organized, reliability, team player
